What's Going On:

Sabbath July 3, 2021

This morning we hold our breaths as we await the Prime Minister’s announcement later today that will determine when congregational worship resumes. While we look forward to the day that it does, our Sabbath programs continue to stream every Saturday morning from 10:00am. We also invite you to join us every Sunday and Wednesday evening from 6:00pm for our weekly Zoom-church services.

Today we invite you to our special Prayer & Fast service. Prayer is the gateway to heaven and some things come only by fasting. Join us today as we approach the throne of Grace and lay our petitions at His feet.

Next Saturday, Sabbath July 10th, we have a special speaker with us, none other than the President of CARU, Pastor Dr. Kern Tobias. Join with us as Ps. Tobias brings us a message directly from God.

The Men’s Ministries Department of the South Caribbean Conference will be hosting its Men’s Equipping Conference on Friday July 2nd and Saturday July 3rd. This weekend series will be streamed “Live” on the SCC’s YouTube channel. Following are the times, topics and speakers:

  • Friday July 2nd (7:00pm – 8:30pm): “The Foundation of every man’s need for Success in Life and Relationships” – Speaker: Dr. Curtis Fox.
  • Sabbath July 3rd (10:00am – 11:30am): “Understanding the Heart of a Man” – Speaker: Dr. Richard Campbell.

On July 17th, 24th and 31st FRSDA will be hosting 3 Sabbaths of special programming with a youth emphasis. The theme for this special youth series is “God is still Provider, Sustainer, Deliverer”. Next week more information will be shared but we encourage all of our youth viewers to take note of the dates and prepare to be a part of this important series.

The funeral of the late Sister Elsa Murray, who passed away on Friday June 25th, takes place on Monday July 5th from 10:00am at the Five Rivers SDA Church. The service will be streamed “Live” on our YouTube channel so look out for the link as it becomes available.

Be reminded that our pastor, Ps. Nicholas Nicholls is currently on mandatory vacation from June 28th to July 5th, inclusive. This means that our pastor will be out of office during that period but will resume meeting with the parishioners from July 6th 2021. Please be guided accordingly.
