Welcome to the Five Rivers SDA church. Whether face-to-face or online, we thank you for choosing to visit and worship with us. We are located at 23-24 Cemetery Street, Five Rivers, Arouca, Trinidad & Tobago.
Our Saturday morning service begins physically at 9am. When worshipping in person, please come with your masks properly covering your nose and mouth. You will also be required to have your temperature tested and your hands sanitized before entering the church’s halls. We also ask that you do not remove your mask while in the church hall or on the church’s compound.
Last evening was the 7th installment in our month-long, 10-part series entitled “Back to Basics: A Review of our Fundamental Beliefs”. Our speaker for this series is Pastor Dr. Andy Manzano and he waxed warm last night! With all due respect, if you missed last evening’s message, you need to make sure that you check it out, exclusively on our YouTube channel, after today’s service ends! After today we have one more weekend so be sure to mark your calendars!
Our regular weekly services are held on the Zoom platform on Monday mornings at 5AM and on Wednesday evenings at 6PM. The meeting links for these services are available on our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter) using the handle @frsdachurch. We look forward to having you join us.
Coming from the Health Department of the FRSDA church are some important tips regarding the current COVID-19 pandemic and caring for ourselves and others who may be infected with this virus and exhibiting mild symptoms:
- ensure adequate hydration;
- get lots of rest;
- use pain relievers and antipyretics (fever relievers);
- keep a thermometer to monitor temperature (38 degrees Celsius and above is a fever);
- have a pulse oximeter to monitor oxygen levels (if readings fall below 95%, contact the COVID hotline);
- Please seek medical help if there is any difficulty breathing, chest pains, confusion/drowsiness, bluish lips/face.
The Children’s Department of the FRSDA church holds its next bi-weekly Children’s Junior Church program on Saturday April 30th from 10:30am via Zoom. Prayers go out for those of our children who are returning to physical school and those who have started or will shortly be starting examinations (CSEC, CAPE or Tertiary level). We know that God will guide you in this undertaking. Put your trust and hope in Him!
