The pleasure and privilege is ours to welcome you to the streaming service of Five Rivers SDA church. Every Saturday, which we refer to as Sabbath, we come together to offer praise and thanks to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We are happy that you have decided to worship with us today, physically in-house and online on YouTube.
Our streaming usually begins at 10:30am but today is a very special day: a high day in Israel. Today marks our long awaited, high anticipated, never debated Communion Service, our first for 2022, due mainly to the constraints of the COVID-19 pandemic health restrictions. This service is open to everyone of all religions so feel free to visit us at 23-24 Cemetery Street, Five Rivers if you wish to commemorate this special service with us today.
The North North East zone’s evangelistic outreach crusade entitled Hope Beyond the Headlines started last night and it was a dynamic event! We look forward to 4+ weeks of exciting, soul-stirring messages from God’s mouth-piece, Evangelist Boyde Winchester. This crusade is hosted by the Arima SDA church, runs 7pm nightly, every night except Thursdays and Saturdays and will be streamed “live” on the YouTube channel of Arima SDA church. For a listing of topics and related information, see this announcement on our website. During the period of the crusade, FRSDA church will feature no Saturday morning streaming programming. We invite you to join us in support of this evangelistic endeavor.
WEEKLY SERVICES
Due to the ongoing crusade, our regular weekly services on the Zoom platform will be somewhat curtailed. Only the 5AM Monday morning service will be hosted during the timeframe. Our Wednesday evening services will be pre-empted until the end of the crusade. The Zoom link for the Monday morning services is available on our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter) using the handle @frsdachurch. We look forward to having you join us.
ADVENTIST YOUTH
Adventist Youth service continues this afternoon at 4:30pm on Zoom. This evening’s theme is “My Neighbor’s Keeper”. See the graphic above for the link to connect.
The AY department also wants you to know of its upcoming hike to Mermaid Pools, Mathura. You must register by Wednesday June 15th if you are interested in attending.
