BIBLE STUDY
Bible Study continues this afternoon, right here at our church, from 3:00PM. Join us as we continue our deep dive into the book of Daniel with an exploration of Daniel Chapter 6.
ADVENTIST YOUTH SERVICE
Adventist Youth service follows at 4PM with the topic “Faith over Fear”. Just like Daniel in the lions’ den, we all face moments of darkness — fear, pressure, loneliness, and doubt. But even in the darkest places, God is still present, still powerful, and still working. When fear rises, let your faith rise higher. See you there!
HEALTH LECTURE
We’ve heard it said that there are two aspects of health that are often neglected: Mental and Dental! Thankfully, last month we were enlightened as a church on Mental Wellness. This month, on Sunday April 26th at 6PM on our Zoom Platform, we will hear from Dr. Perloyce Ottley-Alexander who will address the Importance of Dental Health. Please plan to join us. You can’t afford to miss it!
WOMEN’S MINISTRIES: MY SISTER’S KEEPER
If you’ve been thinking about being a part of the My Sister’s Keeper initiative, the Women’s Ministries Department is reminding you to sign up before registration closes on April 26th. This programme pairs women for 3 months to build meaningful connections through engagement, prayer and sisterhood. You may register by using the form on the notice board at the back of the church or by completing the Google Form shared in the FRSDA info chat. It only takes a minute!
FRSDA 50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS
By now everyone should know that the month of May, 2026 will feature 5 Sabbaths of special feature programming as the Five Rivers SDA church celebrates its 50th Anniversary of having attained Church Status: Special programmes, special speakers, special features all for special people, you, our beloved members and friends. And for the first time, FRSDA merchandise will be available: FRSDA umbrellas, FRSDA water bottles, FRSDA hoodies, etc., etc. You will hear more in the near future regarding how you can acquire these items. So stay tuned and share with those you know.
PERSONAL MINISTRIES – OPEN AIR SERVICE
The Personal Ministries Department is inviting everyone to an Open Air Programme on May 16th, as we prepare the field for our upcoming crusade, featuring Pr. Brent St. Jean in the month of July. This is also a call for anyone interested in functioning as a bible worker for that crusade to please speak with the Personal Ministries leader, Eld. Avin Thorne. Let’s work together as we bring men, women, boys, and girls to the foot of the cross and into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.
JOHN BRADSHAW VISITS T&T
Internationally renown speaker of the popular television program “It Is Written”, Pr. John Bradshaw is scheduled to make a 2-day visit to the South Caribbean Conference on May 15th & 16th, 2026. He will host “The Evangelist Explosion” at Stanmore Avenue SDA and at the Centre of Excellence. We pray for the success of his visit and trust that many will give their hearts to Jesus.
COMMUNITY SERVICES FUND RAISER
The Community Services department is hosting a beach day fundraiser at Las Cuevas beach on Sunday May 31st. The maxi leaves the Five Rivers church compound at 7AM sharp. Tickets cost $150 for adults and $100 for children under 6 years. For more information, see the Community Services leader, Sis. Cidna Alexander.
WEEKLY SERVICES
All are invited to our weekly Zoom services on Monday @ 5AM and Wednesday @ 6PM. These meetings are planned especially for you so please don’t miss them. The meeting links are posted on our WhatsApp chat and channel.
