We invite you to join us today at Five Rivers SDA for our regularly streamed Sabbath programming. Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic in Trinidad & Tobago, we have been streaming and continue to do so every Saturday morning from 10:00am. We also host Sunday and Wednesday evening services from 6:00pm every week on the Zoom platform.
Last Saturday began our special Youth Emphasis Series entitled “God is still Provider, Sustainer, Deliverer”. This series is hosted and run by the youth of our church. Last Sabbath we were blessed by Pastor Renaldo Hines who spoke to us on the topic: “God is still Provider”. This weekend the blessings continue as we look forward to hearing from Pastor Randy Dixon, another youthful and dynamic man of God. The sermon for today is on the topic “God is still our Sustainer”. Tune into our YouTube channel to hear this message at around 11:30am today.
Another exciting program follows our Youth Emphasis Series on August 7th: Uniform Day. For those of you who are not sure, NO! Uniform day is not when we watch our nation’s armed forces and first responders marching and parading in the Queen’s Park Savannah. That’s Independence Day. Uniform Day is hosted by our very own Adventurers, Pathfinders and Master Guides. This year we anxiously wait to see what our uniformed personnel have in store for us. So remember the date, Saturday August 7th, and stay tuned for more information.
Our 2021 Family Life Series “A Fresh Start” is right around the corner. We look forward to this 7-week program, which is scheduled to begin on Saturday August 14th, 2021. More information regarding speakers and topics will be shared as the start time comes nearer.
