Welcome to Five Rivers SDA Church’s “LIVE” stream programming. We welcome all of our physical and virtual members, friends, visitors and guests. This morning we’re suffering from a bit of “Prophetic-Trends Tabanca” but we look back over the past 8 or so weeks with fond memories and lasting impressions. After 8 weeks of enlightened sharing of the Gospel by Dr. Andy Manzano, we’re blessed to say that 17 souls gave their hearts and lives to the Lord last sabbath. We continue to keep these new converts in our thoughts and prayers, just as we continue to keep Pr. Manzano before the cross and throne of God. Today’s Word will be shared with us by the one and only Dr. Fazadudin Hosein, aka Dr. Faz. One of the most brilliant minds in Biblical studies, including Eschatology, Dr. Faz tends to go quite deep, so you may want to keep a pen and some paper handy because you may want to make some notes for future reference.
PRAYER & FAST SERVICE
This afternoon, soon after the midday service ends, we will host our monthly Prayer & Fast service, right here in physical church. ALL are invited.
WEEKLY SERVICES
Our weekly online services continue on Zoom this week: Join us for our Monday morning 5:00AM prayer service and our Wednesday evening 6:00PM prayer and thanksgiving service, both on the Zoom platform. Please come and bring a friend. See our social media pages for the login information.
The FRSDA Uniform Department invites children of all ages to be registered for club membership in 2023. The Adventures Club ranges from birth to 9 years old, while the Pathfinder Club ranges from age 10 to 16+. In these clubs we take part in numerous activities including: completing awards & honors, drilling & marching, hiking, camping, charity work and last but not least, learning lessons focused on our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We invite all interested children and teens to come and see what we are all about. Club meetings are held 2 – 3 times each month at the Five Rivers SDA Church between 3pm and 6pm. FRSDA FAMILY LIFE MOVIES ON TTT!
The gifts that keep on giving are the movies that keep on blessing! We thank God for the continued opportunity that allows our works for His cause to keep being used to reach the unreached and unsaved: Tonight (March 25th, 2023), as we approach the Easter season, our first Family Life movie, “The Family Altar” makes another appearance on local television station, TTT. That airing will be at 8:35PM. Then, next Saturday evening, April 1st, “A Fresh Start” will also air on TTT, also at 8:35PM. Another trilogy-airing is in the making as we get closer to Easter so stay tuned.
ORDINATION SERVICE
Next Sabbath, April 1st, a very solemn and sacred service will take place at the FRSDA church. Next Sabbath, while the world celebrates “All-Fools Day”, we will be celebrating “Ordination Day” as two of our elders and two of our deacons will be ordained in service before the Lord. Please come out and support our hard-working church officers.
On the following Sabbath, April 8th, we commemorate the sacred sacrament of communion. This service is open to all members and visitors who are at the age of consent. So prepare your hearts and minds and come partake of the Lord’s Supper!
All persons who remit their tithe and offerings via direct debit or bank transfer are reminded to send their information regarding the distribution of the funds to the church treasury department via the email treasury@fiveriverssda.org. This is vital if your remittances are to be distributed correctly and according to your wishes.
