Welcome to the Five Rivers SDA church Sabbath Service. While we welcome you to worship with us physically from 9am at 23-24 Cemetery Street, Five Rivers, Arouca (face-to-face) we also stream “live” via YouTube from 1030am.

CHURCH IS OPEN so join us whichever way is most convenient to you, but JOIN US! And, of course, we are still operating in an environment that contains the COVID-19 virus so when worshipping in person, please come with your masks properly covering your nose and mouth and be prepared to have your temperature tested and your hands sanitized. We also ask that you do not remove your mask while in the church hall or on the church’s compound.

Last weekend ended our “Back to Basics” series, featuring Pastor Dr. Andy Manzano. This series opened our minds to a greater understand of our Fundamental Beliefs and spawned memorable phrases such as:
- I keep the Sabbath because Jesus Kept it;
- God often waits until you run out of options;
- Jesus came on a rescue mission to save the human family;
- Whatever Jesus tells you to do, do it;
- You must be able to reason out your faith: if it doesn’t make sense, something must be wrong with it;
- There’s no such thing as a Christian without a gift.
Through the power of technology, you can re-live every minute of this inspiring series on our YouTube channel.

CONDOLENCES

We sadly announce the passing of a stalwart and great matriarch of the Five Rivers SDA church, Sister Ruby “Muzz” Joseph who went to sleep early Wednesday morning. Muzz lived a rich and full life, passing at the age of 95. And although scoring a century is a magnificent achievement, having a high strike rate is even more impressive: Muzz had a strike rate of over 200! The funeral of the late Sis. Ruby Joseph will be announced in a subsequent announcement. However, the FRSDA eldership will be hosting a special service on Sunday evening (April 15th) at the residence of the late Sis. Joseph. This service will be streamed “Live” on our Zoom platform. Due to this special service, our regular Monday morning 5am service will be preempted for this coming week only. Please continue to pray for and support the Joseph and Greene families in this their moment of bereavement. UPDATE: The funeral service of the late Sis. Ruby Joseph will take place on Thursday May 19th from 3:00pm at the Five Rivers SDA Church and will also be streamed “Live” on the FRSDA YouTube channel.
