Greetings to all members of the Five Rivers SDA Church. God’s blessings to you and your families. The year 2021 is fast coming to a close. As you know, each year elections are held to choose church officers to serve in God’s vineyard for the following year. In 2020, due to the effects and constraints of the COVID-19 pandemic, it became difficult to go through the traditional process of elections and the church body agreed to ask the officers elected for 2020 to continue on until the end of 2021.
However, the situation has eased enough for us to be able to return to the prescribed method of selection: elections. As you would know, the process has already started with the selection of the Large Committee and the Committee’s selection of the Nominating Committee, which meets to select and recommend officers. These officers will be presented to the church at Business Meeting for ratification and approval in due course.
You, the membership, are being invited to offer yourselves to serve in the various departments of church work. Using the included link, you are invited to indicate the department(s) within which you would like to serve. Further information and instructions are available upon clicking the link.
