WORLD PATHFINDER DAY 2026
Today was World Pathfinder Day in our Global Church! Here in Five Rivers, our Pathfinders went out (assisted by our MiT’s) and visited our unwell and shut-in members: those unable to physically fellowship at church. The Pathfinders sang, prayed, gave testimonies, and left a Word of encouragement with our beloved members. The leaders of the Club wish to express thanks and gratitude to the parents/guardians, and all those who assisted in making today a resounding success, to the Honor and Glory of God!

LIBRARY RE-OPENING
The Education Department is excited to announce that the opening of our Church Library is coming soon!
We are looking forward to creating a space that will encourage us as a congregation to read, learn, grow, and strengthen our faith through good Christian literature.
As we prepare for the grand opening, we are kindly asking for your support. If you have Bible-based or Christian books at home that are in very good condition and that you are willing to share, we invite you to donate a book—or a few books—to the library.
If you don’t have books to donate, you can still help! You can purchase a book or books for the library, or make a financial contribution toward the purchase of books and other resources.
We would be grateful to receive your donated books and contributions by Saturday, October 3rd, which will give the Education Department enough time to process, organize, and stock the library as we prepare for the grand opening coming soon!
Contributions can be given to any member of the library committee – Sis. Marion, Sis. Josephine, Sis. Layla Alexander and Bro. Malakai Manswell.
We would love to have the support of our entire congregation in whatever way you are able to contribute.
Let’s work together to build a library that will bless our church family for years to come.

AY CAMP 2027 & FUND RAISING HIKE
As Camp fee collections continue this weekend, you are invited to continue supporting the AY Council’s fund raising activities. This time, it’s a hike to Rio Seco Falls. This happens on Republic Day Holiday, September 24th. So, if you’re looking for a fun, healthy way to celebrate our nation’s 50th Anniversary, this is an excellent option. And this hike’s difficulty level is a 3, which is beginner to moderate. For more information see the Ad above: And remember to pay your Camp Fees!
WOMEN’S MINISTRIES
Ladies Night Out: The Brentwood Edition
As we celebrate the wrap-up of Cycle 1 of the My Sisters’ Keeper initiative, we’re inviting all women to join us for a special evening of fun, fellowship and connection!
After three months of reaching out, encouraging one another and building new relationships, it’s time to come together and celebrate! 🎉

Time: We meet at church for 6:30 pm
Come ready to relax, laugh, eat, chat and enjoy quality time together. Transportation will be provided at no cost. However, food and drinks are at your own expense.
