Welcome to Church! Today we close off 2022 with the last Sabbath services of the year. Our speaker for this morning is Pastor Peter Morris and we know that the Word he is bringing to us with be directly from God. So stay tuned.
This afternoon from 5:30PM, we host our annual Old Year’s Night service. Our doors are wide open and we’re operating at 100% capacity, so all are invited to come worship with us. And yes, the service will be streamed for the benefit of all of our online family. Our church pastor Pastor Nicholas Nichollas will deliver the homily to us. Don’t miss this very important service.
The programming of the Five Rivers SDA church is all about evangelism and we are blessed and privileged that local media house TTT has wholeheartedly bought into our vision. On Boxing day 2022, our Family Life movie “Choices” premiered on the local channel with a rerun on the following day. We are pleased to announce that on Monday January 2nd, 2023 (the New Year’s Day holiday) TTT will be hosting a ‘marathon’ of our three movies starting at 9:00AM with “The Family Altar”, followed by “A Fresh Start” at 11:00AM and “Choices” at 1:05PM. Let’s all make use of this evangelistic opportunity by sharing this information with our families and friends.

This coming week, we will have no 5AM Monday morning prayer service, however, Wednesday evening 6PM thanksgiving service continues so we invite you to join us on the Zoom platform. Check our social media pages for the Zoom login information.
FUNERAL SERVICES: SIS. ADINA WILLIAMS
Last week we announced the passing of our dearly beloved Sister Adina Williams. This morning, we wish to inform you that Sis. Adina’s funeral will be held on Tuesday January 3rd, 2023 from 1:00PM right here at her home church, Five Rivers SDA church. While the service will be streamed on the church’s YouTube channel, you are invited to pay your respects and condolences physically as the church building will be open to all. Please remember to keep the bereaved family in your prayers.
AY CAMP 2023 IS ON!
After three years of lock-down, three years of having nothing to do during the Carnival period, three years of no fellowship, IT’S BACK! Camp 2023 is ON! And there’s no time to waste so all interested persons are asked to place their names on the list located on the church’s notice board, located in the foyer. More information will be provided in the very near future.
