The countdown to the July 4th lifting of restrictions on congregational worship is on. We are hopeful that with that date will come the reinstatement of some level of in-house worship. However, Five Rivers SDA is committed to honoring and observing the in-effect health regulations. So, we continue to stream our Sabbath morning programs every Saturday morning from 10:00am and we invite you to join us every Sunday and Wednesday evening from 6:00pm for our weekly Zoom-church services.
All of you may not be aware (particularly our overseas friends) but today Saturday June 19th and tomorrow Sunday June 20th Trinidad & Tobago will be in a heightened state of Curfew with our restricted hours beginning at 10:00am rather than the regular 7:00pm for weekends. So today’s program was pre-recorded between the hours of 6:00am and 8:30am this morning. We would like to thank all members of the team, including our speaker Pastor Horrell, for coming out extra early this morning to ensure that our program for today was still able to go on.
Today’s sermon brings the curtains down on our series, “A Closer Walk with God”. Over the span of twelve weeks, we have listened to inspired men of God as they presented the Word of God. We thank them for helping to make this series an effective success. Today, Pastor Cyril Horrell will again speak to us on “Christian Behaviour”, building on the strong foundation that he laid last week. We eagerly await today’s Word.
